Build a Musical Instrument.
With found objects in your home and a bit of creative thinking, can you build a Musical Instrument?
Re-purpose, re-use, re-think something's use. Can you make something that can make a noise?
Check your re-cycle bin for supplies, ask your parents for extra tools like tape, glue or string! Now start creating!
Once you have made your Instrument:
In your journals draw a picture of your Musical Instrument. What have you called it? What kind of a
sound does it make?

Lets try some Spring Time Poetry.
Acrostics: Are non-rhyming Poems that begin with one word written long ways down a page, like this...….. S P R I N G This becomes the subject of your poem. We are writing about Spring. Now you need to use those letters, by picking a word or sentence that starts with the first letter of your subject. eg: S starts... sunny skies, snow drops, and songs of birds Now add these words or sentences to your poem. Remember you already have the first letter written down so you don't have to repeat it! Once you have added your words to the first letter, do the same thing with the next letter and the next, until you have added a word or sentence to each letter. Snow drops Petals Running through the grass In the garden New plants Growing Here are some spring time words or ideas you can try. Or think up some of your own! Flowers, petals, tulip, daffodils, pansies, snow drops, gardens, seeds, blossoms, planting...…. Baby animals: lambs, chicks, ducklings, bunnies, foals... |
Here is an example of a poem using Easter as the subject.
